Clarity Publishers, sister company of Student Life, started in 2003 to conquer a great need: biblical illiteracy. It was formed to publish studies for Student LifeBibleStudy but has expanded to include LifeBibleStudy.

In 2003, “trustworthy and credible research confirmed our convictions that teenagers are not getting a clear understanding of what they believe or of the truth revealed in the Bible,” says Student Life Founder and President Randy Hall. But teenagers aren’t the only ones falling behind in the area of biblical literacy. Research also shows Christian adults have difficulty articulating the truths of the Bible.

Since 2003, Clarity Publishers has put into motion a team of writers, editors, and designers who are working daily to conquer biblical illiteracy. To date, they have published 13 studies. And after 5 years, all 50 states and 40 countries use works from Clarity Publishers.
